Those of you who have selected this subject as their 200 marks optional : Well-done 😀
Keeping in mind the revised syllabus, IR is a good choice. This paper, which previously was only for 100 marks, has been upgraded to being a 200 marks exams and has been divided into two papers now.
Paper 1: Deal with theories of IR
Paper 2: International relations of the world divided into several segments.
Goldstein book comes highly recommended for both the papers. I ‘d advise to use this book to make a structure of possible questions. I will soon be uploading past papers for IR (Paper 1 & 2).
Moreover, identify the expected-to-come-in-exam topics and prepar them from this book. It will immensely improve your chances of writing a cogent answer in the exam.
Ikram Rabbani book is also recommended, but with caution. It has a lot of irrelevant details. Don’t get bogged down by the details and use both the books to attempt past papers.
